Calculate how many shards you need to upgrade a Hero Exclusive Weapon from any level to any level, for Last War: Survival.
Cost breakdown (per weapon)
| Segment | Shards |
|---|---|
| Unlock (0 → 1)(requires shards specific to this weapon) | 50 |
| Level 2 – 5 | 80 |
| Level 6 – 10 | 200 |
| Level 11 – 15 | 300 |
| Level 16 – 20 | 500 |
| Level 21 – 25 | 750 |
| Level 26 – 30 | 1,000 |
The unlock cost (level 0 → 1) must be paid with shards specific to that hero's weapon — they don't stack with other weapons'. Levels 2 and up accept either that weapon's own shards or universal weapon shards.
Hero Exclusive Weapons level up from 1 to 30, and like hero stars, the shard cost per level rises in bands: 20/level for levels 2-5, 40/level for 6-10, 60/level for 11-15, 100/level for 16-20, 150/level for 21-25, and 200/level for the final stretch to 30. Unlocking the weapon in the first place (level 0 to 1) is a separate 50-shard cost that only accepts shards specific to that hero's weapon — universal weapon shards can't be used for the unlock, only for levels 2 and up.
What's the difference between hero-specific and universal weapon shards?
Hero-specific shards only work on that one hero's exclusive weapon. Universal weapon shards can be spent on any exclusive weapon's levels 2+, but never on an unlock (level 0 → 1).
What does the "Number of weapons" field do?
It multiplies the per-weapon cost so you can plan a combined shard total for several exclusive weapons at once — handy when you're taking multiple heroes' weapons through the same level range and don't want to run the calculator separately for each one.
Should I level one weapon to 30 before starting another?
Since cost per level climbs steeply in the later bands, spreading shards across your core lineup's weapons up to a mid-tier level is usually more efficient than fully maxing a single weapon first.
